  False Religion

  this can be so overwhelming.

  there are so many false religions around today that it is astounding.

  if a person does not have a strong bond with god it is easy to fall prey to the devil's deceitful plans.

  You do not need to know anything about me. im here to talk about Jesus Christ. I can say i have the Holy Spirit in me all day long. Anyone that has faith and that is saved and born again has the same in them. so dont think that im the only one. How do i point to myself as righeous? Now what makes me righteous and acceptable to God is The sacrafice of Christ Jesus. He makes me boast of him. thats something i cant help. you dont hear me on here tooting my own horn now do you? no you dont im always lifting Jesus up so sorry for you if you dont lift him up but dont try to stop me cause it wont work!

  What pratical things do you suggest i do? I have told you how to get saved. read Romans 10:9. This is the best advice i can give you as a start on your christian journey. but you dont want that you want to continue to not see the light and mock and make fun. thats not going to lead you to the narrow road.

  Eyes open, you are free to believe what you like but i know where i stand

  Terry you ask too many questions at one time

  You assume God does not know what he is doing and that he is unjust. Do you know what God's rules are and do you try to follow them to the best of your ability?

  You probably would have done the same thing Adam did. It didnt matter how much information he had given them before hand, he gave them instructions and they should have obeyed them. like us today. stop trying to make excuses and do what God tells you to do.

  What do we have to do to get Gods' Attention

  this is *if* you believe in god / a god / gods.

  there are moments when i sit down and have a conversation, almost with myself, because even though i am looking up at the heavens/searching my soul, there is no answer, no supernatural feeling, it is quiet and still, but i speak the words just in case there is something listening.. if there is a god and he is all that he claims to be through all the religions on this earth, why doesn't he rule us as a god should?

  why doesn't he come on down and sort out this world?

Problem is, when we read that particular book, we rely on others to tell us what is says, means, etc. Well, heck, if THEY don't know the truth, how in the WORLD can they pass it on to YOU? They can't. They can only pass on what they THINK it says/means... which is, more often than not... wrong. UNLESS... they received it DIRECTLY from the One about whom it is speaking. But you don't have to take MY word for it.

  You lost me when you said this. Are you saying the Bible is not true?

  Eyes Open:

  This is the wrong place to boast you have the true religion.

  Open your eyes wider and read this. I am not boasting on any religion, I have Christ Jesus living inside of me. So any boasting is giving him honor and glory.

  I know He truly lives in me.

  Making statements like this support your lack of faith. When you are saved and born again you will not make statements like this. as Burn illustrated about Job, look how cruel his life turned and look at the outcome. you must keep your eyes on Jesus Christ and have faith in him. you must pray for faith and if you have some faith pray for more.

  The devil causes us all to have these kinds of thoughts. He wants to influence our minds as he did Eve in the garden who was PERFECT. thats why Christ left that helper, Holy Spirit to help us to overcome these feelings. we cannot do it by ourselves which i have made that mistake over and over again of trying to do things on my own without God's help. this does not work for me and it never has. I need God to do everything i do. i am helpless without him.

  We must all realize how much we really need God. we must not go by feelings to believe his word. He will do what he says he will do when he wants to do it and we were taught to pray for his kingdom to come. the church has the power of prayer that they are some not aware of. God hears or prayers(believers)

  Terry you are obviously an unbeliever and no one will be able to answer you questions to satisfaction because we dont know the answers either. no one knows how God thinks but i can tell you he is Just because HE MADE JUSTICE!

  The Internet, JWs and Being Told Dont Use It.

  as a public school teacher and standing in front of a class room i found it a way to advocate something questionable such as a borderline tv show or the radio show of risquay djs by telling the class this was not good and they should not listen to these.

  knowing all the while the next morning on the way to school they would be listening to bob and tom in the morning.. so do any of you believe that some of the jws take being told don't use the internet is their que to open their browser?.

  i remember how i use to google jw but only found a few articles and denounced them as liars. i was interested in finding out why anyone would leave the truth. when i found out about mj i was really curious as to why he left. then i asked about the Williams sisters and was told they say they are witnesses but they really are not, this really confused me because i would question why are they proclaiming to be jw but are not. and why are they not only in sports but on the top of their field. i quickly stopped looking at the sites after being told to stop going to them. until of course Oct 2007
